Full of quirky sketches and comic strips, this is more of a coffee table book than a recipe book. But if you’ve ever been to the Montreal restaurant Au Pied de Cochon and wanted to make any of the dishes at home, this is the place to start. And their book lets you bring some of those dishes home (if you have a local source of foie gras, of course).

It includes recipes for all the dishes that have made the restaurant famous: foie gras poutine, duck in a can, and the eponymous pig’s foot.
